Re: Introduction
exactly bro...sorry if I didn't mentioned I'm finishing my second year at college...
if you're american(not my case, but either way), they say you are freshman for first year,
sophomore is second year, junior third year and senior your last year at college so...actually I got two more years to go on paper but since some computer science classes are kinda hardcore and tough to the edge of the nails, you usually postpone to one year later..let's say I'm going to graduate in 2012, actually if you fail to pass in a subject there you might postpone your graduation to 2013(my case).
but actually I don't know yet...this database development area is really interesting...I might give it a try here, trying to be a developer or project manager...I don't know...time will tell

Re: Introduction
cool hope you do well though computer science sounds way more advanced do you do algorithms as well?
Re: Introduction
Sounds fun to say the least, I presume you do more than just computer programming?

Re: Introduction
Sorta, right now I'm really INTO software programming, but if I wanted to and had the will and wise to do it, you can decipher algorithms, build algorithms, develop chaos theories and theories itself...
A good one to tell is that this past 2nd half of the 2010 I had a subject named Construction and Analysis of Algorithms, and my two class projects envolved in finding the zeta number(92 million and something) using the fibonacci terms(number f = chain term x -1 + chain term x -2 ,where that X is higher than 1, because x = 0 is 0 and x = 1 is 1)
and the second one was based on deadalus labyrinth...really interesting...and tough...

wow its very similar to algebra wow its very complex reason being hackers are so talented lol
Re: Introduction
very similar, matter of fact, I had a subject that was algebra...real cool that class, had great times listening to my teacher talking crazy stuff and talking with a classmate of mine that everyone sounded he had smoked lots of joints dude it was funny.

Re: Introduction
^^ sounds a lot of laughs there mate i wanna get into that it sounds really technical
Re: Introduction
Cool bro, if you want to give it a try at computer science, it's a great idea because the market is demanding lots of programmers of all aspects, you'll learn lots of things...obviously I hate to mention that doing this course is very hard...you gotta study hard to keep out with some subjects...and I say at the very start at your first half of the year there you'll be either mad, because you think it's harsh and complicated...but you'll get used to it...

Re: Introduction
haha thanks JNL, also quantum physics is mandatory so you have to do it which is awesome. I am not sure what I will basically go into when I get into year 3 and 4 I was either thinking nuclear physics or semiconductors. But that is a decision to be made a few years down the line haha.

Re: Introduction
Hi everyone, I'm darkstar, real name Tom. Got into TDU1 , massively on the 360, loved it ALOT. Even did drag races near the nissan dealer in Honolulu. favourite car on TDU1 was probably my Koeingsegg CCR, loved that thing.
Nowadays, im a PC gamer, since I sold my 360 due to it getting boring. But on the PC you can usually find me playing Team Fortress 2 & Battlefield: Bad Company 2, if ya wanna add me on steam I'm http://steamcommunity.com/id/darkstar516
But yeah, I'm currently at college doing a national diploma in software development, then hopefully Computer Science At Lancaster or Hull university. So there :p
