Ignition Club & Website Update

Hi guys a lot has happened over the past two weeks Xbox and PS3 has grown and the PC team.
The site itself has gone through a lot of changes here and a rather big update to what has happened so far

The club:
The club has grown and expanded and me, JNL7409 and the_adam_zuon thank you for joining our club and stick with us through our TDU2 adventure as a club. We have now also allied with Torque Kings, Midnight Club Racers and shoe united. Over the coming months we will try to setup friendly race meets and club vs club events. Following that we have now been invited to join Club 2 Club as a place to share ideas and interests in becoming better clubs and how to become great leaders. This will require your decision whether or not we take up the opportunity to share our ideas and take other clubs ideas and implement it into our own and make our club better and a fun place to cruise with. Updates on Club creations:
On all platforms, PC and Xbox users the leaders NitrousX123 (me) and the_adam_zuon now have our copies of the game and we are awaiting the the patches coming to all platforms which should come at the end of today Wednesday 16th Feb. And great news Xbox team is now completely full and we will add you as soon as MS sends the patches out to enable the clubs. And we will be playing online asap please bare with us and we will notify and add you to the clubs. If for some reason you have yet to be added to any of the leaders on PS3, Xbox or PC please contact them for either platform:

We will add you asap just getting in the rhythm of things by next week friday 25th feb we should have everyone added on the list. As long we can donate and expand the list of members for each platform everything should go to as planned. And I would like to thank you all on the xbox team for filling in the spaces BUT its a big but we still need to support our fellow members on PC and PS3, so if you have a friend or family member that has the game on another platform give em a nudge and tell them to join Ignition xD.

Website:
We have had tremendous help with updating the site for those who have registered here a week ago know that the colour scheme was a bit dull. And its all thanks to nathanddave to tweaking the HTML scripts on the site and choosing the right image for the site. Its brighter and it stands out from rival club sites it's not complete yet but its work in progress. If you want to add any new features to the site like a gallery or chatbox please leave it in this thread here Forum feedback. Here are the updates and added features in the change-log we have implemented so far:

• Added Star Ranks System
  
• New improved background image
  
• Removed black borders
  
• Removed red borders around forum
  
• Added Help & Tips section under TDU2
  
• Added graphics design forum for posting signatures and pictures
  

Following on from that is the moderators who have signed up, have taken up the role to maintain the site. Removing irrelevant posts from any particular discussion and censor rude/swear words etc.

These are your new moderators please respect them as you would any one else on the forum. Because they have these mod powers doe's not mean their any better than any one else. They have taking time out of their own leisure to help maintain the site with me, nathanddave and the leaders. Any concerns on the behavior of staff or other members please PM me or nathanddave, JNL7409 or the_adam_zuon or msg me on xbl. No abuse will be tolerated at all times and we will try to deal with any situation as possible. Please note that for the time being vacancy is full for moderating the site.

Graphic designers:
We are in desperate need of graphically talented designers if your a budding artist or like designing signatures or web backgrounds we would be more and happy to have you on board. Special Club Events:
If all goes to plan this following Friday 18th Feb onwards the following should happen:

• Group Photo Shoot get out your rust bucket or show room exotic car
  
• Club cruise no set route as yet but fastback on xbl has set one up if your interested Click Here
  
• Club races for fun
  

All leaders should know what to do on this day so if they forget, give them a polite nudge so they don't forget thanks.

5th March time trail event this event here may be change if something occurs in the future but for now many of you need to prepare. The tracks you need to post your times on are the Hawaii Area 2 Cup and the Ibiza Cup 1 Time Trail. I have created a thread click here which displays a table of those with the fastest lap times. Already I have set a benchmark for both tracks already. The event will be on all platforms. The person with the top fastest time will win a prize.

So that's that guys a very big update sorry if i couldn't put this into a bite size bulletin but allot has happened over the past week. In due course i'll update once or so a week on any announcements. Again to all of you thank you for all your support, kindness and great ideas and enthusiasm. Such a great club you guys have made and without you the members none of this would be possible, so give your selves a pat on the back xD.

I must warn PC people that my internet likes to completely die at peak times though due to me only having 4mbit download speed, and having an utterly horrible download limit of 40GB a month

Bumping Thread new update on club events and patches to all platforms

just bought a V12 Vantage last night... Dont worry i still have enough to start the club when the servers are up

how are you handling the car is it twitchy cos pretty much everyone in the community hate the car especially in the license tests

I really have to be gentle with squeezing the trigger round corners with any aston, too much power going to the rear wheels :/

Yeah i bought the Aston Martin DB9 Coupe first to compete in the A4 challanges... sold it right away and got me the Audi S6 Avant, i always lost the rear wheels on every turn with the DB9 damn hard car to control on sport or hardcore settings

I know, it took me 6 or 7 times to pass one of the license test with that car. I was wonder, is 1:00 CST the only time you guys will be cruising? I don't get on until 7:00 CST.

Patches have gone live on PC, dont know about consoles.

Just PC for now but you guys on PC can go right ahead and continue a Club cruise and pictures etc Like I said in the (OP). Seeing as most of you are on PC you guys decide amongst your selves in the PC section what time you guys are meeting up. Seeing as the Xbox/PS3 do not have their patches as yet.

yeah i heard that as well. Sense the patches are exactly the same all platform patches won't be released till next week monday
